So far, the polyhedrons are not a subject of wide interest, because the present society is mostly interested and financing of wars, guns and bombs. That is why PSL decided to redraw a historical bomb. PSL, Poutvaara Science Lab, is not afraid about investigating complicated and controversial concepts.
The nuclear sciences have a stigma of wars, but scientists can effect on the subject only by engaging on its concepts. Actually, some of the most important people effecting on limitations of the nuclear weapons have been the scientists developing the technology. Moreover, PSL sees nuclear sciences as an important subject of research because of the energy concepts related, which could benefit both energy production on Earth and in space. PSL has no actual interest in the development of nuclear weapons. Related peaceful nuclear technology such as fusion power reactor development has civil use potential that is not understood without knowledge about the fission processes.
PSL has modelled the most complex weapon system of the WW II, the first used implosion bomb of Nagasaki of the American Manhattan -project. We do not share or distribute the model, only some model images, which are quite similar one can find from internet search engines such as Google and from moving image platforms such as YouTube. My model, based on my architecture expertise, is more accurate and professional than one can find from YouTube, Wikipedia or web generally. That is the reason why we do not share the model and also license the illustrations.

A cutaway axonometry of the Nagasaki-type implosion bomb based on model by PSL. This is probably the most precise drawing one can find in the internet, but roughly all the same information can also be found more poorly presented in Wikipedia or web in general. Truncated icosahedron was adapted in around 1945 in Manhattan Project as a geometric configuration of the implosion bomb trigger of a fission bomb.
PSL has actually no interest in the contemporary devices in use, the newest devices or their development and the main reason is that very little is known about them and only some concept diagrams are published. There are unspoken rules in the scientific community, that only the concepts in general circulation are published, and even that there is not even definite information about what the actual solutions of the Manhattan project were. That is because the first information about the Manhattan project were published as leaked second hand information and the unclassified information published 50 years ago is selected as concept information, not blueprints. As an architecture professional, I can make exact models and figure out missing details, but I am not either publishing my actual blueprints, modelling methods or technical data of my models. Similar as in architecture, I know that my models can not directly be used for any realization, because the most critical information, parts, systems and construction methods are unknown. I am not either interested about figuring out, what they are.
In present times the scientific community and the illustrator community has published in some relation correct information about the Manhattan project, but mainly about the historical aspect, and there are no actual blueprints in circulation about the modern systems in use. The reason is that it has been managed to be kept secret and the systems are highly complicated to construct and are formed by multilayered collaboration. My following explosion diagram is intending to present some complicated construction concepts of the system.

Exploded diagram of the assembly of the Fat Man bomb based on PSL-modelling. The layout is a modernized version of Mike Wagnon’s illustration made for Chuck Hansen’s book U.S. Nuclear Weapons (1988). It also presents the unclassified cover concept, that has been copied to hundreds of published artworks and dozens of replicas. My own illustration is more precise and since it is based on a 3D-model, it is not simply a drawing. It is also in real scale and more precise because of more recently published unclassified information. Before this, the Wagnon drawing has been one of the most informative of the subject. PSL does not lend the model, but PSL and PPS can provide with license high quality illustrations.
