Space is limitless and it can be related to a pin tip sized known World (the Solar System), in which the present life has evolved in millions of years. Around the tip of the pin there are kilometres of radius field landscape (The Milky Way) – one can see far, but not get there. Moving in the tip of the pin needs decades of preparation and one knows of it only small parts of few tiny particles. In space there are endlessly possibilities, and it has already been taken into account, but the limits are generally less known. So far, the possibilities have created little concrete result mainly up to the Earth´s own orbit.

So – space activities need long preparation and projects are generally started by previous generations. The generally popular space branch has got a new actor, Poutvaara Space Agency, PSA, that started from the Design Bureau Poutvaara. On the basis there is Poutvaara’s own interest in space starting from the 1970s and its concretization into planned and aimed format.

Poutvaara Space Agency is a technic-artistic project, that doesn´t offer an alternative for the existing space organizations or space forces, because these have in their use expertise, that is not available for a civil operator that I am representing. Instead Poutvaara Space Agency offers existing visual, graphical, sculptural, natural scientific and architectural modellings, that can correspondingly be used in visual presentations, researches or be realized as physical models in practice. Primary I would emphasize the conceptual and project management and leading designer expertise, by which the modellings on the base are scientifically accurate and relatively competitive – they are for example able to handle precise GPS-location data. The space branch is often led with very defective design expertise and project management and leadership expertise. In this I represent consult expertise and I offer a consult viewpoint.

The basis of Poutvaara Space Agency is not buying expertise, but rather in the beginning phase there has been made the actual risk investment on production, research and development work. To this we have ended without commercial investors or risk finance. We consider precisely a possibility to accept external capital or work, but primary it needs a credible plan and a real business expansion possibility. We discuss about our work with easy threshold, but there is no time make our work mainly as public.

Poutvaara Space Agency is searching for domestic and international clients. The international clients should at the moment of making agreements fill the export rights for high technology expertise, such as space technology and design, set by both EU and the United States. This ensures for clients, that there will not be juridical limitations in the co-operation, which could disrupt the activities. Poutvaara Space Agency aims at the basic level promote non-military use of space, but for example for scientific and news broadcast use the military use of space can be demonstratively illustrated. In basic level Poutvaara Space Agency is not having an aim of having own space rocket launch capability, manned space missions nor a permanent base outside Earth – surely of these, one can make consultation, but the practical level is mainly the architectural consultation and feasibility studies in projects designed by other parties.

In basic level we do not believe in inhabitation of space, except Earth, but surely the technical use of Earth´s orbit and within limits both manned and unmanned science projects in the Solar System. The American´s project about Mars is practically a limited possible experiment, but we do not believe it would offer profit for the use of money during this century and in our realization assessments we do not consider it profitable when taking into account the losses. As basis we present, that practical travelling does not contain any sure solutions and comparable use of money into humankind´s original eternity project, Earth, is practically more certain way of getting profitable results during this century.

As such, we appreciate the United States, China, Russia and European operators stakes in the utilization of space, but we do not live in delusions. With this I mean, that most likely during this century the greatest achievement would be, if there could continuously be used satellites and scientific space stations in Earth´s orbit and as side activities there could be made some experimental tasks with probes in the Solar System and outside of it, and maybe with some manned missions to the Moon and Mars. Nothing greater, I do not believe, would be possible to achieve. Populating Mars and the Moon and financial utilization would be far more expensive and dangerous than the economical profit gained and in the visible future in space travel there is not possible to be seen any radically new solution in relation to that, which is already known.

The least uninhabitable places of the Solar System, the Moon and Mars, are anyway more hostile environments for man than any place on Earth. Self I would see reasonable to build some kind of base to the Moon as a science project and during this millennium try to experiment transforming Mars such as trying to build an atmosphere for it, but these tasks are more wisely to be left rather than for humans, for human like robots using artificial intelligence, when such might be developed during the next decades. Terraforming Mars could take thousands of years. During this century it is not seeable, that any material benefit from Mars or the Moon could be seen. In present time and near future seeable technology it is not worthy to try send people further from Earth than for a quick visit to the Moon. The probability for that man could in near decades travel to Mars and come back is so slim, that it is not even worth of testing. Because there would be no added value from sending humans to Mars, in the future one should develop new machine-based technology such as robot-settlers.

In the end one must admit, that also the usability of Earth will finally alter during hundreds of millions of years by cosmic events and Earth´s crusts tectonic development, after all the present human made structures will be erased, but a few millions of years is not such a short period, that there would be hurry to leave in few decades, few hundreds of years, not even few thousands of years, because the technical solutions are lacking, that there could exited Earth permanently and in significant scale.

Although man has invented an airplane, a helicopter and few other flying machines, such as a jetpack meaning a jet engine rucksack – that does not mean that all man invented devices would work. For example, wrap drive meaning remote transferring in speed of light or faster does exist only as Star Trek -fiction product. Similarly, the Wormholes, meaning time-space shortcuts do exist as a passageway only in science fiction movies, and there is no guarantee, that if such would exist, they could work in travelling. The Wormholes could not either be predicted to be stable, if such would exist, and self by information from the mapping of present space, I do not believe, such would even exist. In the black holes case there is no indication, that the organic objects ended in such, such as animals, would even remain in normal form or alive. It might be possible, that parallel universes could not be found in such a way, that human could notice them. Instead of daily fear of outer space invasion, it might be, that one should be terrified about the fact that there might never be any visitors to the Solar System and that no one could ever reach further outside of it alive. It is theoretically fully possible, that no human-level space-utilizing species are ever able to create solution for interstellar travelling, but although that the basic research of the subject is worth of continuing. One should bear in mind, that human is maybe bind to live only on Earth.

It is very likely, that during this century in space travel one can use only the present use engine types – liquid or solid fuel, ion motors and reactor motors. Although different motor types have been sketched about fifty, none of those would guarantee for the self space vehicle a protective shield against the particles, objects or radiation in space, and not either solve the slowness problem of interstellar travel. Further, antigravitation cannot by present knowledge be solved, and not even the celestial bodies gravitation explanation is completely known. The gravitation lacking in space is the most significant reason for why the space travel is so physiologically destructive. Further, there are not known methods, with which the space travel even in our own Solar System between planets could be medically responsibly possible – not even mentioned about interstellar traveling. The inexperience of humankind in space travel is explained also by the fact that instead of inventing engine types, one should have such systems, that could work and last without malfunctioning, that is the main reason, why humankind might be remaining for centuries or thousands of years in the present Solar System, maybe mainly on its only safe planet. Also, decades or centuries long closure of outer space is a possible scenario.

Self I see the basic sciences and the development of theoretical science as useful development work, and I do not see any negative in that with computer programs such as with Artificial Intelligence one aims to create new content. General relativity theory for example offers several theoretical concepts of the World and the space and tries to offer answers about interstellar travel. I would still wait for the AI to answer about the development of the General relativity theory with  another way than: “unfortunately any other focus for the General relativity theory is not available, because the available information resources have not been complemented by pasting new information about it”. In other words, there is a lack of developers of General relativity theory and the humankind´s intelligence has not even been enough to avoid the World War II and in present UN era the present World´s intelligence has not been sufficient to focus on humankind´s productive action. Estimating about the humanity´s use of computers and intelligent devices, there are too little productive and persistent thinking.

After about 5 billion years the lifespan of the Sun will end, at when the present cycle of the current Solar System will end. All Earth´s current structures and state borders will be erased already in hundreds of millions of years. It has been only about 5000 years since the humankind´s first architects and state structures, so it is very unsolid to present precise information even about what life on Earth will be after 5000 years, not even 500 years development would be possible to predict, for 50 years span it is possible to present good guesses. To be honest, if I would at the decade of my birth in the 1970s been able to predict Earth´s development until present day, I would have been very pleased about the technical development, but the development of the social and political aspect would have been quite a disappointment.

Predicting the development provides for technology industry possibilities, but quite concretely one can take into account also the possibilities within society to impact on the environmental issues – a less debated problem is, that the Sahara and Middle-East deserts similarly as the Mediterranean climate are partly man-made – and similar desertification and diminishing of living environment will inevitably happen also in the more prosperous world, and by then the area of deserts and uninhabitable land will also increase. Seeing this is a central wisdom to interpret that, why the World’s development will be a disappointment: everyone could have seen for centuries the effects of climate change, but though those will be a surprise for the descendants of present time World´s leaders, who will be alive after few decades.

In basic level we believe, that if one lives irresponsibly on Earth, there will be no chance for the mankind to develop the future solutions, with which one could sustain human life outside Earth or to travel outside the Solar System. The prime focus should thus be moved into sustainable use of Earth, so functioning space technology could be developed. It is very unlikely, that with currently seen or during coming decades developed solutions one could realize such solutions, with which humans could be sent to space in anything more specific than experimental activities. The solutions of science fiction movies and -stories in space travel are mainly based on demonstrating working solutions, not in that, that the solutions could work in real life. The dystopia descriptions of the future are mainly based on that the development is not guided by regulation – the regulation must develop at the same time as one takes new solutions into use.

One of the earliest projects of the activities was modelling of the Solar System. At that instance came an observation that because of the scale differences the precise modelling contains in visualization information that is difficult to use scientifically. Further, the space organizations have own modellings about the Solar System taking into account the time-dimension, so the static models are thus also very limited and that is why I do not see my static modellings usable in visualizations. With those it is certainly possible to comprehend orbits and distances, but in that also the time dimensions must be taken into account and in public sources there is limited such knowledge, that is used in the calculations of state related space organizations.

A popularising interpretation of Earth happened in with an art project a couple of years ago, although it was left only at a level of modelling concept. Human´s interest in Earth´s physical model has often been repeated, so for the realization there was chosen as a second project the modelling of the globe with Poutvaara Globe -working title. In the model there in not as such any comparative projects, but it has been realized with a general modelling program AutoCAD, that is certainly in use with almost every space activity related organization and for the model there has been developed own mathematical, geometric and scientific principles and methods. The precision of the model is general level in the presentation of Earth, but it is sufficient for visualization and research quality – not in itself for navigation or similar field use. Central in Poutvaara Globe -project is the scalability of the model, that makes feasible Earth’s visual, abstract and miniature presentation, also presenting as manufacturable 3D-object or ready shell model, that could act as part of 3D-structure or building.

Although Poutvaara Globe is primary an art project, its concept makes it possible to use location data and precise models for example about movement paths, which raise the usability value of the model. To this one has reached with scientific modelling principles and similar expertise. The practical precision is very close to the same as with more precise operators, except that the Poutvaara Globe is not a software, an application, but a CAD-model. With manual modelling there are anyway certain surpluses, and in principle the same technical principles could in program level be applied to create software, thus in such operation there would be more work than in a 1200 hours Poutvaara Globe -project.

PSA is realizing studies about Earth´s different orbits, for example about Earth´s and the Moon´s orbit, the ISS´s orbit, orbits of the satellites and with inertia engines guided flights of rockets on Earth, similarly as with distant flights with airplanes. About similar there are already different practical applications, similarly as computer games, computer applications and internet user interfaces. At the starting phase, self I aim to offer my own strong skill, meaning artistic visualization a practical modelling. On the basis there is not presentation of satellite photos, but vector modelled points, lines and arches and handling of them in 3D-shaped form.

Technically speaking the space organizations have in their use customized programs, that could reach the same, but similar artistic visualization is offered only at this instance.
